Gut Health, Glow and Simplifying Wellness: A Conversation with Felicity Evans from IMBIBE
The founder behind one of Australia's most trusted wellness brands shares why healing the gut changes everything, and how to build a routine that actually sticks.
Felicity Evans knows what it means to rebuild from the inside out. After an autoimmune diagnosis sent her searching for answers, she channelled years of research into IMBIBE, a Byron Bay-based wellness and beauty brand now trusted by thousands of women across Australia. Known for the cult-favourite Miracle Collagen and Beauty Renewal probiotic concentrate, IMBIBE is built on one core belief: less, but better. We sat down with Felicity ahead of her appearance at our upcoming retreat to talk gut-skin connection, the power of morning rituals, and why real wellness should never feel like another thing to be perfect at.
• Please introduce yourself and your work/practice in your own words.
Felicity Evans, founder and CEO of IMBIBE, a wellness and beauty brand based in Byron Bay. We're best known for our Beauty Renewal probiotic concentrate, which supports the gut-skin axis for glowing skin and reduced bloating, and Miracle Collagen, clinically proven to reduce wrinkles in just four weeks. My founding principle is simple: every product must be rigorously researched, efficacious, clean and clinically proven, doing more with less.
• What drew you to the work you do?
After being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that affected every part of my life, I became obsessed with finding answers. I researched relentlessly, often late into the night, asking one question: what actionable steps could I take to truly turn my health around? The answers came slowly: fix the gut first, supplement with the right peptides, take a true 360 approach to wellness. So I started experimenting, creating my own multi-strain probiotic drinks, and slowly uncovered a formula that worked. My symptoms subsided.
But what I discovered in that process was bigger than my own healing. I wanted other women to feel what I felt: vibrant, confident and well. To simplify their routines without compromising results. To wake up with the energy and clarity to face the day head on, knowing they are showing up as the best version of themselves.
• What can guests expect from your offering/workshop at the retreat?
Guests can expect to leave with a genuine understanding of why the gut is the cornerstone of everything: our skin, our mood, our energy, our vitality. We'll go deep on what it actually means to support your gut health and why it's the foundation on which everything else is built on. We'll also explore the power of sleep, daily rituals and habits, and how small, intentional changes can compound into a truly vibrant life.
• What is something you are currently passionate about within health, wellness or healing?
Right now, I am deeply passionate about simplifying wellness. As a culture, we have become so obsessed with 30-step routines, biohacking and optimising every single aspect of our health. Wellness has become another thing to be perfect at, another source of stress and self-punishment, and that is the opposite of what it should be.
I really believe that true wellness is simple. It should be pleasurable and sustainable, not rigid and exhausting. You don't need to do everything, you just need to find what works for you and do it consistently.
• What does “nervous system regulation” or wellbeing mean to you personally?
Nervous system regulation is deeply personal to me. For me it comes down to carving out that quiet time in the morning, waking before the children, before the noise begins. My non-negotiables are simple: cardiac coherence meditation, Pranayama breathing and getting sunlight first thing
I don't just do this for me. When I'm centred and regulated, I show up so differently as a mother, a wife and a leader for my team. To me, that's what true wellbeing really means: waking up with clarity and energy, and having enough in the tank to truly thrive, not just get through the day.
• What is one practice or ritual you return to in your own everyday life?
Every single morning without fail, Miracle Collagen goes into my coffee or matcha. I have done it for over seven years, and honestly, I couldn't imagine my routine without it. My skin is firmer, my hair grows so fast and healthy, and my energy and strength have never been better.
It also saves me so much time in the morning. Knowing it's working away means I need so much less effort to feel and look my best, which, as a busy mum and CEO, means everything.
• What do you hope guests walk away feeling after the retreat experience?
I want every guest to walk away feeling inspired and centred, but more than anything, deeply connected. Connected to themselves and to the women around them.
Community is everything to me. No supplement, no ritual, nothing comes close to the impact of genuine human connection on our health and longevity. In a world where we are increasingly staying home and being online, we are lonelier than ever, and it is taking a real toll. Getting women together in a room, sharing an experience, laughing, learning and being truly present with each other. That is the medicine.
